PUMP-UP Virtual Assistant Application Now Available

The PUMP-UP project is pleased to announce the launch of the PUMP-UP Virtual Assistant Application, a practical digital tool designed to support HVAC technicians and trainees working with heat pump systems.

Nearly 100 students attend PUMP-UP training seminars at Tartu Vocational College

On 10–11 March, the Tartu Vocational College hosted two highly engaging PUMP-UP training seminars, welcoming almost 50 students per day from heating, cooling, and construction programs. The seminars introduced participants to the PUMP-UP online learning materials on heat pump systems, highlighting flexible, self-paced learning opportunities and career-relevant skills.

PUMP-UP Kicks Off On-Site Training Activities at Universitat Politècnica de València

During the week of 2–6 February, the Universitat Politècnica de València hosted the first PUMP-UP on-site training seminar, introducing students to the project’s objectives and educational opportunities.

The seminars were delivered within the framework of Elisa Peñalvo’s courses in the Energy Engineering and Mechanical Energy Engineering degrees, specifically in the subjects of Energy Markets, Electricity, and Renewable Hybrid Systems. The sessions aimed to present the PUMP-UP project, explain its contribution to upskilling HVAC professionals in heat pump technologies, and encourage student participation in the PUMP-UP Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), available in both English and Spanish.

PUMP-UP Online Workshop, 29/04/2024

On the 29 th of April the PUMP-UP consortium organised a workshop bringing together experts in the field of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning from the entire European Union in order to discuss skills requirements in the sector as well as provide their insights regarding the proposed PUMP-UP curriculum.
